Trekking to Pankam Village in Northern Shan State

Pankam, a Palaung ( Hill Tribe) village is near Hsipaw, about 5 Hrs trekking.
A remote village that can only be reached by walking, you will see unable to believe that there still remain such village in this modern days.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Yangon and sightseeing. Overnight at Yangon.
Day 2 : Fly to Mandalay and sightseeing. Overnignt at Mandalay.
Day 3 : Drive to Pyin Oo Lwin and sightseeing. Overnight at Pyin Oo Lwin.
Day 4 : Take the morning train and cross the famous Gokteik Viaduct built
            in 1900. Overnight at Hsipaw.
Day 5 : In the morning, 5 Hrs Trekking to Pankam . Overnight at Pankam Village.
Day 6 : Sightseeing around the village and 4 Hrs trekking back to Hsipaw. In the evening, visit to
            Haw (Shan Palace). Overnight at Hsipaw.
Day 7 : Up-creek to working elephants camp and sightseeing Shan village and Orange Farms.
            Overnight at Hsipaw.
Day 8 : Drive back to Mandalay. Overnight at Mandalay.
Day 9 : Fly to Yangon and depart Yangon by evening flight to Bangkok.
